Questions

Do I need to own a domain?

No. Choose BBDsuite.in to get a free address without owning anything. A domain is only needed if you want an address like you@yourcompany.com.

What are DNS records for?

They tell the internet that BBDsuite handles mail for your domain (MX), and prove that messages from you are genuine (SPF, DKIM and DMARC). You add them once at the company where you bought your domain.

How long does a custom domain take to start working?

DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours to spread across the internet. Use Check records after you add them, and you can come back to it later.

Can I use my address in other mail apps?

Yes. Any app that supports IMAP and SMTP can connect with your full address and password.

What is the recovery email for?

We send your verification code there, and you can use it to get back into your account if you forget your password.
